Custom Wood Columns
In addition to our standard wood columns, we can also custom craft wood columns in specific heights and diameters to meet the needs of every project. Whether you require an extra-large column or a short half-column for a countertop project, we can help you achieve the sophisticated architectural enhancements that you envision. We can also cut columns into plans for easy installation. Plans include halves for post wraps and pilaster applications. Other examples include cut outs for wall wraps, as well as inside and outside corner columns.
We offer wood columns crafted in Alder, Cherry, Maple, Mahogany, Pine, Red Oak, Redwood and Walnut. We offer a variety of wood species to compliment existing wood interiors, aesthetic tastes, and to provide you with a full spectrum of characteristics unique to certain species. All wood species used are top quality. Custom wood columns can be immersed in WoodTreat MB, a wood preservative and water-repellent that provides protection against mold, mildew, staining, rotting and fungi. WoodTreat MB also helps to control the effects of minor shrinking, swelling and warping. Custom wood columns are available in both stain-grade and paint-grade versions. We can also pre-prime or stain your new columns.
